Who we are
Stone Axis Civils (Pty) Ltd is a tar and asphalt surfacing contractor based at 6 Vaal Lane in Blue Downs, Cape Town. We build and maintain driveways, private roads, parking areas, courts and paving for homeowners, bodies corporate, estates, farms and businesses across the Western Cape.

What we believe
Most surfacing problems start underneath. A driveway that cracks, sinks or holds water after a winter or two almost always had a thin base, poor compaction or nowhere for the water to go. So we spend our time and your money where it counts: excavation to firm ground, a properly compacted base, correct falls and firm edges. The tar on top is the easy part.
How we work
- Free site survey before every quote, so we price your actual site, not a guess.
- Written, itemised quotes within 24 hours of the survey.
- Honest advice, including telling you when a cheaper option such as resurfacing or a slurry seal will do the job.
- Clean, respectful sites and clear communication with you and your neighbours.
